Even though I don't get into the retail aspect of V-Day, you know what I'm talking about - the stuffed animals (seriously??), the flowers (die), the chocolate (weight!!!) and the balloons (deflate) - I'm still feeling the love with my little cupid.

Is the only way to describe the vibe I got from this couple. I went out to their home today for a session and it was so peaceful and serene. They seemed to be absolutely and totally in love. What a refreshing day!

Please pray for our neighbors who have been devastated by the tornadoes in our area.

The following document shows images depicting the severe damage that was sustained to the homes of friends, family and loved ones in my hometown. These pictures were taken today, a day after the storm after clean-up efforts have begun. I can't put into words the feelings I felt as I saw this. I can't describe the feelings you feel when you know the people involved, when those people are your neighbors, when you've grown up with them and their children. I always see these things on television and think how awful it must be to go through something like this. I am so blessed. My home and family was not harmed during these storms. I was spared. Who knows when this will happen again. Who knows who it will happen to. It could be me. It could be you. Hug your babies, tell your parents you love them, thank your friends.

Yummy Yummy ...

There is nothing sweeter than a chunky monkey baby. I love the rolls, the full cheeks and the "bracelets" on their arms and legs. This sweet little girl was definitely a chunker and I swear, I could've kept her!
